Brian Hunt
FOUNDING ATTORNEY
After 4 years as an insurance claims adjuster, then 18 years as an attorney working for insurance companies defending auto accident claims, Brian Hunt switched sides and began representing injured people against insurance companies. During his time on the insurance side, he developed a deep knowledge of not only insurance and injury law, but also the procedures and methods used by insurance companies in evaluating and defending claims. After switching sides, he ran the Portland office of a well-known plaintiff personal injury law firm for 8 years, then bought the business on January 1, 2019. Today, Brian Hunt puts to use those many years of insurance experience and focuses his practice on cases involving auto accidents, slip and falls, dog bites and disputes with insurance companies.
Brian Hunt has been licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington since 1993. He has been lead or sole counsel on over 160 jury trials and over 1500 arbitration hearings. He has been appointed as arbiter by local courts and attorneys in over 800 hearings. A lifelong Oregon resident, he grew up in Beaverton, went to college at Southern Oregon State College (now S.O.U.) in Ashland and then to law school at Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in Portland.
When not working, Brian continues to think he can still run marathons, backpack around mountains and see live music on weeknights, but mostly just wonders what his kids are doing and visits wineries with his wife and friends.
